Ben Builds - TwinBrit GB - Bristol Beaufighter MkVI - part 8

I decided I needed more #TwinBrit. So, instead of just cramming the last few steps into one long video, I thought I would split up the rest of the build into two short videos. That way, it will be easier on the viewers to enjoy the final few steps. So here we go!



I was able to finally get to the painting stage on my Beaufighter. I used both Tamiya and Gunze paints and mixed up a few custom colors. The underside is a custom Azure Blue. I used my own mix of white, light blue and a dash of purple. For the topside, I stuck with Sand Yellow and a mix of 50/50 Flat Earth and Red Brown. then I did some post shading with Tamiya Smoke, some slight fading with Buff and Flat Earth and a topcoat of Future.



This is really falling together now and I am super pleased at how it is coming along. Next episode should be the decals, weathering and the final reveal.
